Empirica – supported by ENIR network experts – developed a European long-term agenda on for the European Commission. The agenda document was presented at a conference on 26 January 2017 in Brussels (www.leadership2017.eu) and the final agenda document released in April 2017.

VALUeHEALTH establishes how eHealth interoperability can create and deliver value for all stakeholders, for a sustainable market in scaling up cross-border services. We developed an evidence-based business plan for interoperability, beginning with CEF support and sustainability.

SMART

The study on “Monitoring methodologies for web-accessibility in the European Union” is aimed to provide an up-to-date description of the situation of web-accessibility monitoring across 30 countries.

BeyondSilos

BeyondSilos is an EU co-funded pilot project that allows providers in 7 European regions to implement and pilot integrated social and health care services. Up to 10,000 people in Northern Ireland, Bulgaria, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Germany are receive improved services by 2015.

CAP4access

The objective of the CAP4Access project is to develop and pilot-test methods and tools for collectively gathering and sharing information about accessibility of public spaces. The background for the project is that Europe needs to become more accessible.

CareWell

CareWell will enable the delivery of integrated healthcare to frail elderly patients in a pilot setting through comprehensive multidisciplinary and tightly knit programmes. ICTs will play a major role in the coordination and communication of healthcare professionals and patients.

The European Union Cross-Border Healthcare Directive of 2011 (2011/24/EU) established rules for facilitating the access to high-quality healthcare within the European Union while respecting the freedom of each Member State to decide on what type of healthcare it provides.

DIGITALJOBS

Exploitation of ICT has a crucial role to play in Europe’s future prosperity and well-being. The single largest obstacle to harnessing the power of ICT is a shortage of skills, particularly ICT practitioners, where the shortfall is estimated at 900,000.

EXPAND

The aim of the EXPAND Thematic Network is to address the challenge of moving from a set of point-solution pilots to a large-scale deployment of cross-border facilities that support Member States (MS) in delivering their local eHealth plans and providing cross-border care.

LEAD has developed targeted actions for start-ups and fast growing SMEs to provide them with relevant e-leadership skills and qualifications for entrepreneurs, managers and advanced ICT users that are recognized transnationally.

PEARL

PEARL’s main goal is to enable the development and deployment of ICT-based ergonomic and moving age-friendly workspaces, on the basis of a unique blending of leading edge ICT technologies for smart working environments.
